Kiawah Island offers 10 000 acres of beauty. There are 10 miles of pristine beach perfect for shelling swimming or just relaxing. The lush maritime forest which lies just beyond the delicate sand dunes is a haven for wildlife and heron deer and other animals roam the island. The ever-changing salt marshes harbor a variety of wildfowl and create an exquisitely balanced ecosystem that helps the island thrive.The island provides guests with a variety of activities as well. The guests can enjoy over 30 miles of biking and hiking trails glide through the waters on a kayak enjoy a dolphin-watching cruise or play any of the four golf courses on the island as well as several other local courses. The Bohicket Marina on neighboring Seabrook Island has shopping and dining and several water tours leave from the docks. The comfortable villas are between short distance from the beach. Furnished decks or screened porches face the wooded groves peaceful lagoons tranquil marshes legendary golf courses or Atlantic Ocean. All properties offer completely furnished living and dining areas fully equipped kitchens including cookwares silverwares and dishes. The amenities include cable TV and VCR or DVD player telephones microwaves and central heating and air conditioning. All linens except beach towels are provided and in most properties a washer or dryer. Bedding varies but most properties have a queen bed in the master bedroom and either two twin beds or a queen bed in subsequent bedrooms. Non-smoking properties are available upon request.
