Occupying the northern end of a barrier island Wild Dunes Resort is a 1 600 acre resort located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Charleston and 21 miles from Charleston International Airport. This location is also eight miles from the Fort Sumter boat dock Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum (USS Yorktown) the Boone Hall Plantation and the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site.
